Weight Loss –Tips To Choose The Right Herbs
Every woman wants
to be young, beautiful with a thin body. Before you begin to start lose weight,
you need to determine the cause of the excess weight. To lose excess weight you
should start with cleansing your body.
Usually
obesity results from over-eating and junk food.People suffering from obesity feel
hungry very often , and their food is deficient in fresh fruits and vegetables.
All this shows that the main reasons for obesity are – distended stomach and
inadequate intake of vitamins and fiber.
Tips to choose the right herbs for weight
loss
Choosing herbs
for weight loss depends on the nature of your problem. If you have an increased
appetite, eat lots of parsley - put it in soups and salads.Parsley reduces the
secretion of gastric juice and it decreases appetite.
How to prepare an infusion of parsley?
Pour 1
teaspoon of dried parsley with a cup of boiling water. Let stand it for 10
minutes, then filter. Drink 100 ml when you feel hungry.
Losing weight
with herbs is a long process. First, herbs act slowly and cumulatively, second
- it takes time for the stomach to go back to its normal size.
How to determine how much food you should
take at once?
It is very easy - the normal capacity of the
stomach is two handfuls. So, do not eat food more than 2 handfuls.
Herbs for weight loss that work
Yarrow - to cleanse your body drink
up to three glasses yarrow tea daily. You can drink
it in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening, as it contains tannins it
helps to combat stomach swelling. The infusion
has diuretic and diaphoretic effect, improves metabolism.
Tea preparation
Brew 1 tbs. of yarrow with 150-200 ml of
boiling water for 15 minutes. For weight loss is appropriate to use a mixture of the herbs yarrow, chamomile and anise, which
are prepared in the same way.
Yarrow tea is
contraindicated for pregnant women, nursing mothers and children under 6 years
of age. It’s not recommended for varicose veins, as well. If you take yarrow tea
for a long period it is possible to feel stomach discomfort.
Rosemary – this herb stimulates metabolism. Rosemary
activates blood circulation and functioning of the urinary system. Rosemary is used for treatment of gynecological disorders
during menopause.
Rosemary
tea – preparation:
Brew 1 tbs. of
rosemary in 150 ml. water for 10 min. Drunk the amount throughout the day. It
is not recommended to drink tea before bedtime because excites the nervous
system. People with high blood pressure should take it carefully. Pregnant
women and children under 6 years should avoid rosemary tea.
Green oats - cleanse body of toxins in a best way.
The main
reason for obesity is the lazy excretory system. Green oat is also a powerful
detoxifying agent. It reduces appetite, has a positive impact on the liver, even
quits alcohol problems.
Green tea oat preparation
Brew 1 tbs.
for 20 min in 450 ml of boiling water. The daily dose is up to 3 cups a day. Keep
in a cool and dark place.
If obesity is associated with vitamin
deficiency
Then the body
is trying to cover the deficit by extracting needed vitamins from ordinary food.
Vitamins might be in minimum amount, and especially if food is unhealthy, the
body desperately wants more and more food to recover the missing elements.
When a person
starts eating healthily (with plenty of fruits and vegetables, wholemeal bread),
then the constant feeling of hunger passes and weight adjustes to a normal
level.
If your
overweight is due to lack of vitamins it would be useful to include green tea
in your diet.

5 Factors Causing Crohn's Disease. Symptoms and Diet.
![]() |
What causes Crohn's disease? Symptoms and Diet.
|
This is a chronic
condition that causes inflammation of the lining of the digestive system.
Inflammation may cover any part of the digestive tract - from the mouth to the
anus, but most often happens in the last part of the small intestine (ileum)
and colon.
The most common symptoms include:
- diarrhea
- abdominal pain
- exhaustion
- weight loss
Over time, inflammation
can lead to damage to the digestive system, which in turn can lead to narrowing
of the colon. Patients suffering from Crohn's disease may not develop symptoms
(for weeks or even months). This condition is known as remission - a temporary
reduction or disappearance of the symptoms.
Less common symptoms are:
• high temperature of 38
degrees (fever)
• feeling sick (nausea,
vomiting)
• joint pain and
swelling (arthritis)
• inflammation and
irritation
• rashes
• blood and mucus in the
stool
5 factors causing Crohn's disease
Exact causes of this
disease are not known yet, but there is a combination of factors that may be
responsible:
1.Genetics - genes inherited from parents.
There is a vast amount
of facts showing that genetics play a significant role in the development of
Crohn's disease. They were identified 32 different specific genetic mutations
which are more common in people with Crohn's disease than in the general population.
There is also proof that this disease can be a hereditary defective.
Three of 20 people have close
relative who has suffered from Crohn's disease. Moreover, this disease may be
more prevalent in some ethnic groups, unlike others.
2.Imunne system - it may be responsible for inflammation of the
digestive system.
The immune system
provides protection from harmful bacteria that could potentially come into the
digestive system. She in turn, "hosts" 500 different bacteria that
help digest food. In Crohn's disease, it occurs a collapse of the immune
system, thereby it could be a send a special signal / agent to kill all
bacteria, no matter is it good or bad. So, it’s the reason for swelling of the
lining of the digestive system.
3.Infection, appeared earlier - it can provoke a breakthrough in the immune system.
In some genetically
susceptible individuals, who have had previous infections in childhood, may
develop Alzheimer's disease at a later stage of their life. Possible source of
this disease is the bacterium (Mycobacterium avium subspecies
paratuberculosis). It occurs in cows, sheep and goats. This can happen when
drinking milk from infected animals, but there is no precise evidence yet.
4.Environment - it can also provoke Crohn's disease.
According to some
sources, Crohn's is known as rich men’s disease. It occurs more often in the US
and UK, and less in Africa and Asia. It is assumed that children in rich
countries aren’t so often exposed to infections(as in poorer ones) and their
immune system is "frail" because of sterile and controlled
environment.
5.Smoking
-smokers usually have more severe symptoms than non-smokers.
According to some
sources smoking is the major risk factor of the development of Crohn's disease.
When to seek medical help?
• Non stop diarrhea
• constant pain in
abdomen
• unexplained weightloss
• blood in stools
Crohn's disease - nutrition. Which foods to avoid?
Foods that should be
avoided are different for each person, but some of these foods may trigger the
symptoms:
• alcohol (beer, wine)
• oil, mayonnaise,
margarine, oils
• carbonated beverages
• coffee, tea, chocolate
• dairy products
• fatty foods (fried
foods)
• foods high in fiber
• legumes (lentils,
beans, legumes, cabbage, broccoli, onions)
• nuts and seeds (peanut
butter, other nut butters)
• raw fruits and raw
vegetables
• red meat and pork
• spicy foods, whole
grains
Experiment with
different types of foods to see which is best for you. You can experiment with
different preparations. Restricting certain foods can help control symptoms.

Abdominal Bloating (meteorism) – 19 Possible Causes Photo sources
Abdominal bloating is
releasing of gases from the digestive system through the anus. The gas is
accumulated in the digestive tract in two main ways:
First
- air can enter during eating or drinking liquids
Second
- during digestion are accumulated methane, hydrogen, carbon dioxide
Other causes of flatulence (meteorism)
1.Irritable bowel syndrome - it refers to the large intestine. It’s causing
discomfort, bloating, gas, cramps, diarrhea, pain and constipation.
2. Be allergic to lactose - this is inability of the body, to remove the
natural sugar (lactose). It is found in dairy products, yogurt and milk.
Bacteria that inhabit the colon interact with undigested lactose / sugar and
cause bloating and diarrhea.
3.Bakteriya Escherichia coli - is a type of bacteria that normally lives in the
intestines of humans and animals. It can cause intestinal infection. The
symptoms are diarrhea, abdominal pain and fever. In some severe cases may produce dehydration, and
renal failure. People with weak immune systems and children are affected most.
4.Colitis
- it is inflammation of the colon, but may be affected and other parts of the
gastrointestinal tract, as well. Symptoms may be mild and ignored for many
years. In other circumstances they may occur very quickly.
5.Gardiaza - this is an infection affecting the small intestine,
caused by the bacteria Giardia. The infection is spread by contact (infected
people), food or contaminated water.
6.Bad digestion - each of us has been suffering from this malaise.
Usually you feel that your stomach is full and bloated (even with less food).
This may cause heartburn, nausea, bloating and vomiting.
7.Cystic fibrosis - a genetic condition that can lead to serious
complications. It can also cause problems in the lungs, pancreas, liver and
intestine.
8.Bowel obstruction (blockage) - a blockage of the small or large intestine.
Blocking prevents moving of food or liquids. It may be partial or complete.
9.Hyperventilation - a condition in which a person starts breathing
faster than usual. This leads to a rapid reduction of carbon dioxide in the
body. The reduced level of carbon dioxide narrows blood vessels that supply
blood to the brain. The decreased blood flow leads to dizziness and tingling of
the fingers.
10. Food poisoning - it is characterized by nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. It is caused by food contaminated with bacteria, viruses or parasites.
11. Sensitivity to gluten – caused by immune response to it. Gluten is a
protein found in a food - wheat, barley,
rye, oats. It also can be found in certain drugs and lipsticks.
12.Gallstones- they lead to deposits in the gallbladder and from
there lead to problems in the digestive tract.
13.Inflamed pancreas - it causes pain and swelling in the upper abdomen.
14. Cysts in ovaries - they are located in the lower abdomen on both sides
of the uterus. They can also cause problems in the stomach or gases.
15.Hiatus hernia - this occurs when the upper part of the stomach
"stick" the diaphragm.
17. Crohn's disease - is a disease characterized by inflammation in digestive
tract. This inflammation can lead to several complications, which can interfere
with the body's ability to process food.
18. Ovarian Cancer - it may also cause swelling and flatulence.
19. Hernia - it most commonly occurs in the abdomen.
